About the job
We are looking for a
Control Engineer to join our team to develop and implement the electrical and hydraulic
systems of Liftra tools to ensure the correct functionality and overall operation of them.

As part of the Engineering Department of Liftra Spain in Bilbao, the Control Engineer will be in close contact with
the Project Manager, the internal technical team and suppliers, being responsible for the control system along
the complete project.

Your primary assignments:

Identification of the control system requirements of an electro-mechanical system.
Selection and design of the hardware architecture for the system in accordance with the safety and

environmental requirements.
Definition of specifications for suppliers (electronics cabinet components, actuators, sensors, etc).
Programming of the PLC and HMI/SCADA.
Follow-up of the subsystems manufacturing progress (Suppliers technical questions and issues).
Commissioning and testing of the control part of the project.
Communication with customers and suppliers.
Development of project documentation.

About you
You have 1-3 years of experience with similar responsibilities in control systems development. Certificate of
Engineering bachelor's or master's degree related to Control/Electrical/Electronic/Industrial Engineering.

Must have a HIGH English level.
PLC programming knowledge, especially valuable experience in Rockwell and Siemens.
Possibility of occasional travels to Site commissioning.
Ability to listen, communicate (written and verbal), and follow-up effectively.
Ability to work independently, be a self-starter and energetically approach tasks assigned.
ERP Navision knowledge would be a plus.
