Responsibilities:

Lead the development of our backend infrastructure
Design the Backend platform for to be used by other backend teams.
Design and implement our infrastructure on AWS and GCP
Ensure the smooth operation of our Kubernetes infrastructure
Monitor and optimize the performance of our Kubernetes infrastructure
Collaborate with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes
Stay up to date with the latest developments in the Kubernetes ecosystem and provide recommendations for improving our infrastructure and processes
Mentor and provide technical guidance to other members of the engineering team
Participate in an oncall rotation to provide support for our production environments

Requirements:

Extensive experience with common public clouds such as GCP and AWS
Strong understanding of Kubernetes and experience building and maintaining Kubernetes infrastructure
Experience with monitoring of Kubernetes clusters
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Experience of working on Platform or enabling teams
