The role

JOB PURPOSE:

Reporting directly to the Engineering Services Head of the Digital Engineering Department, the I/DC Manager will be part of a team of the Engineering Services, which is a directorate composed for about 200 engineers, whose duty is leading the design phase and give advice to the company project teams and the Ferrovial Group in the fields of its expertise.

The I/DC Manager will hold a position in Madrid, managing the implementation of the Engineering Services Information Management System on projects, using different Electronic Data Management Systems, such as Bentley ProjectWise, Autodesk BIM360 and Sharepoint, as well as the integration between the different design platforms and between design and other stakeholder's platforms.

The information manager will be in charge of all the Information Management actions included in the Ferrovial Engineering Services Roadmap, starting by leading the launching of the Engineering Services Sharepoint Site Collection and the setting up of the ProjectWise Engineering Services Workspace for Europe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the implementation of the Engineering Services Information Management System in all its projects, giving support to the Design Managers and Document Controllers.
Produce and keep the Document Management guides updated and current, both in English and Spanish.
Manage and give training to the Engineering Services Staff concerning the processes, methods and tools related with the document control.
Lead the launching of the new Engineering Services Sharepoint Site Collection and perform as Site administrator.
Lead the ProjectWise workspace setting up for Europe projects, coordinating with the IT Department, and perform as ProjectWise administrator.
Lead the Common Data Environment deployment in projects.
Lead future improvements regarding information management.

MAIN SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

7+ years experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills (Spanish and English).
Must be experienced in civil engineering infrastructure projects design phase.

- +4 years of relevant work experience as Document Controller and/or Information Manager.

Must have experience as ProjectWise administrator.
Must hold a Bachelor's degree.
Orderly, methodical professional, with aptitudes for change management and pedagogy skills.

OTHER SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of Digital Engineering trends in the construction industry.
Experience in Asite and BIM360 collaborative environments will be positively considered.
Office 365 (intermediate / expert level). Power BI and Power Automate knowledge will be positively considered.
Proactive approach to incorporate new technologies.
Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals.
