    We are looking for a Tax Manager to work in a multinational company. Its products and services are designed to
    benefit people and improve their quality of life.

    PURPOSE
    Within our one Tax Community and our Operating Model for Taxes at the company, the Global Business Services
    (GBS) team plays a key role performing international and local tax activities regarding Tax Compliance (including
    Indirect & Direct taxes), Tax Accounting and Transfer Pricing, and provides tax advice within the GBS centers and
    contributes to continuous process improvements.
    As part of the organization within the GBS community, we have various Tax operations teams all around the different
    locations that encompasses different process areas mainly related to Indirect taxation, Direct taxation, Tax
    Accounting and Withholding Tax.
    For our Tax operations team of Western Europe, we are looking for a Tax Manager who leads and develops a team of
    8-10 employees, understanding and anticipating stakeholder needs and working closely with the Global Tax team at
    Headquarters and the Tax Heads in the countries. As part of the department leadership team, you will define
    operational and transformation goals and become a key contact within the Tax community at the company.

    YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    The key focus areas of the role are the following:

    • Management of the Tax Operations team for various countries, including integration of Affiliates' tax
    functions into the GBS Tax team.

    • Handling different tax matters pertaining to these countries with assistance of tax expert team members.

    • Improvement of process and control framework, developing best in class regional and market teams by
    leading continuous improvement and innovation.

    • Develop and engage team members and foster stakeholder management.
    The successful candidate will:

    • Develop strong working relationships with business, finance, and tax leaders across the global organization
    to collaborate on significant tax matters affecting the tax operations of the countries in scope and strength
    the tax operations team's partnership and influencing skills.


    • Lead the tax team in charge of the preparation and delivery of tax declarations to local authorities for
    countries in scope including both indirect and direct taxes as well as the reporting and reconciliation of the
    CIT expense.

    • Proactively deal with local tax advisors to provide high impact support and/or advice.

    • React efficiently to global legislative changes and creating systems and processes to ensure compliance and
    stable and efficient operations.

    • Create a high-performing and efficient team. Ensure the team is right sized and appropriate allocation of
    headcount to meet the functions objectives.

    • Lead the team by setting up, communicating, and living the team purpose, while developing the people
    ensuring upskilling, inclusion and diversity.

    • Participate in the improvement, implementation and safeguarding of global processes across the
    organization to ensure tax obligations are met.

    • Driving improvements - aligned with the overall strategy - through digitization, leveraging Data Analytics and
    smart automation.

    WHO YOU ARE

    • BA/BS degree in Tax/Fiscal, Finance, Accounting, Law or Business with 5+ years of experience in taxation.

    • Proven professional tax practice in multinational companies and preferably experience in international tax
    firms. Experience in GBS centers is a plus.

    • Sound experience across Tax Operations, Tax accounting/reporting, Corporate Income Tax, Indirect Taxes,
    International Tax.

    • Strong tax judgement and business knowledge or ability to quickly learn.

    • SAP experience is a plus.

    • Knowledge of the Accounting, Tax, and Finance relevant processes in a legal entity and at group level of
    multinational companies.

    • Strong leadership skills to motivate, coach and develop teams with different backgrounds and aspirations.

    • Very good analytical skills and the proactive attitude to drive process changes.

    • Excellent customer-oriented mindset, change management capabilities and Team player.

    • Competence to grasp an overview of complex subjects and deduce operational activities.

    • Exceptional interpersonal communication, and presentation skills and ability to manage multiple and diverse
    stakeholders.

    • A high proficiency level in English, both written and spoken complete your profile.
