  • Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS) is the leading supercomputing center in Spain. It houses MareNostrum, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe, and is a hosting member of the PRACE European distributed supercomputing infrastructure. The mission of BSC is to research, develop and manage information technologies in order to facilitate scientific progress. BSC combines HPC service provision and R&D into both computer and computational science (life, earth and engineering sciences) under one roof, and currently has over 770 staff from 55 countries.

    Context And MissionKey Duties*
  • Provide legal advice for Administrative Law including Personal Data, Public Procurement, Grants, Donations and any other queries regarding Research and Science Law.
  • Draw up and review collaboration agreements, grant agreements, consortium agreements, administrative resolutions, MOU, NDA, data sharing agreements, material transfer agreements and the like.
  • Provide legal advice for personal data and liaison with the DPO.
  • Draw up and review sponsorships, secondments, internships and the like.
  • Draw up legal reports, internal regulations and/or policies ensuring compliance in Administrative Law.
  • Performing such other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:


  • Education
  • Degree in Law
  • Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
  • At least 23 years of experience on a similar role
  • Master in Administrative Law
  • Experience in international environment; specifically in a public research/scientific organization or in the Public Administration.
  • Extensive knowledge of Data Protection Regulation
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft office and Power Points
  • Additional Knowledge and Professional Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written Spanish, Catalan and English
  • Competences
  • Ability to work in a professional environment within a multidisciplinary and international team
  • Ability to work independently and with diverse internal teams
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize and work under set deadlines and pressure

  • The position will be located at BSC within the Management Department
