    Senior Software BackEnd Engineer

    • Drive the design, development, and enhancement of core features and functionalities of our observability platform using cutting-edge technologies to deliver scalable solutions
    • Guide and mentor a team of talented software engineers, ensuring technical excellence and high-quality code
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust, scalable systems for our growing customer base
    • Stay updated on industry trends, experiment with innovative solutions, and enhance our observability platform
    • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, advocating for best practices and fostering a collaborative environment
    • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, apply optimizations, and maintain platform stability
    • Promote continuous learning, improvement, and innovation within the engineering team

    This role requires

    • Bachelor's degree in software development or related field
    • 5+ years of experience in Java and/or Go, with a strong computer science background
    • Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale software systems
    • Ability to mentor a team, ensure high-quality code, and understand scalable distributed systems
    • Passion for exploring new technologies and finding creative solutions to complex problems
    • Excellent collaboration abilities and familiarity with technologies like AWS, serverless, Docker, Kubernetes, among others

    Bonus points if you have

    • Contributed to open source projects
    • Experience with GraphQL schemas
    • Worked on Observability products, especially in the SaaS vendor space
    • Experience in building high throughput pipelines and distributed systems
