    To enhance our European Industrials business expansion, we are currently looking for experienced Cost Managers/Quantity Surveyors to join us in delivering challenging, high-value, complex projects.

    Job Description

    Turner & Townsend is in search of Cost Managers to contribute to the construction of advanced manufacturing facilities, serving as the primary contact with clients on a daily basis to ensure successful project outcomes. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in major construction projects within industries such as Battery, Semi-conductors, Chemicals, Industrial, Manufacturing, Data Centers, or Pharma.

    This opportunity offers a dynamic environment to work on significant sector projects, collaborating with industry leaders at Turner & Townsend.

    Key accountabilities:

  • Estimating and cost planning, including preparing and presenting the final cost plan.
  • Tendering and procurement, managing pre-qualification stages, creating tender lists, compiling preliminary documents, analyzing tenders, producing tender reports, and assembling contractual documents.
  • Efficiently handling post-contract cost variances and change control processes, referring major changes to the line manager as required.
  • Personally conducting cost checks and valuations on larger projects, ensuring timely and accurate cost verification and valuation.
  • Generating monthly post-contract cost reports and delivering presentations to the client.
  • Contributing to value engineering, negotiating and settling final accounts.
  • Collaborating with the client and other consultants throughout all project phases.

    • Qualifications

  • Experience in construction, industrial, battery, semi-conductors, pharma, and/or manufacturing sectors. Familiarity with MEP and clean/dry rooms is advantageous.
  • Degree in engineering (construction-related), construction management, or quantity surveying.
  • Strong knowledge of technical aspects in the construction industry, including various procurement methods, value management, and value engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in cost management.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Spanish.
