You'll be part of a renowned global team of power system and energy consultants, in which you will have the opportunities to contribute to the development of consultancy products and services to the main electricity sector agents, by actively participating in different type of assessments you will be supporting customers to solve complex challenges electrical systems are facing to reach their decarbonization and sustainability targets.


Main activities expected from the position will be to provide on-site or remote support for installation of equipment at site as well as root-cause analysis of failures in power systems.

In addition you could be assigned to power system analysis activities to understand the customer challenges.


Responsibilities:


  • Providing onsite or remote technical support for the following activities: installation and commissioning of equipment at site, protection relay testing with OMICRON, transformer tests, power quality measurement campaigns with FLUKE, identify technical problems and make analysis through remote or onsite activity in different Consultancy categories.
  • Developing system studies with simulation software tools for electrical power system assessment
  • Consulting with and advising customers on the best consultancy assessments in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Creating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing specialist support and solutions.
  • Coordinating and executing specialist projects through planning, meeting milestones and regular reviews. Domestic and/or international travel will be required, as the role will require handson support at customer sites.

Your background:

  • A master's or bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar. More than 2 years of experience in site assessments.
  • Be familiarized with electrical site environment and system studies, with a proven handson record (experience with measuring equipment, power quality solutions, electrical protocols, protection and control, site management, asset management, electric system simulation, others).
  • Experience working on sites.
  • Experience in the use of secondary injection devices such as OMICRON will be valued.
  • Experience in the use of power quality measurement devices such as FLUKE 435 will be valued.
  • Software knowledge in any of the following programs will be valued: PSS/E, POWER FACTORY, ETAP, PSCAD, GABI, ATP, EMTP-RV, NEPLAN or others.
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
  • A high level of selfmotivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken) other languages will be valued.
  • Ability to travel (between 50% to 60%) depending on the business requirements.
  • Mostly customer sites within Spain and occasional international travel may be needed.
  • Current work permits valid in Spain.
  • Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solutionsoriented approach and strong communication skills.
