We operate as an international team and your home base would be in any of our offices in Baden, Switzerland; Stone, United Kingdom, Istanbul, Turkey; Mannheim, Germany or Milano, Italy.
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for system offers typically 500 kCHF (cost evaluation and sales price calculation)
- Studying customer specification (technically, commercially and legally) and distributing tasks to other dept.
- Estimating cost and effort of offer preparation
- Strategic definition of the scope of supply together with the sales manager
- Defining or preparation of the technical proposal
- Appointing and reserving recourses within HITACHI ENERGY
- Preparation of compliance statements (technically or commercial)
- Defining the commercial set up (sub supplier, consortium )
- Evaluating potential subcontractor, supplier
- Requesting quotations from sub supplier or subcontractor
- Cost calculation
- Preparation of documentation needed for HITACHI ENERGY internal approval processes.
- Support of the sales manager for contract negotiation
- Master / Bachelor or diploma in communication technology or telecommunication engineering or a similar education
- Professional experience with broadband
- Sound technical understanding and experience of telecommunications product portfolio and systems, alternatively experience with substation automation and protection systems
- Commercial knowhow and previous experience with tendering advantageous
- Fluent in Spanish and English, French and other European languages is an advantage
- Good technical and system thinking
- Selfdriven with much own initiative und ability to manage in complex environments
