As a member of the software engineering team, a Software Engineer at Confluence often works across a product's entire tech stack utilizing cutting-edge technologies to build and maintain industry-leading software solutions. This individual takes user stories and architectural specifications to strategize and implement secure, performant, efficient and maintainable solutions designed to provide value to internal and external stakeholders.     We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is proficient in developing and supporting .NET solutions. to join an established global Software Engineering team and assist in the development and support of one of Confluence's key regulatory reporting solutions.

    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust .NET applications using C#, .net framework and .net core
    • Support Azure DevOps practices for continuous integration and deployment.
    • Leverage and TypeScript for frontend development to create responsive and intuitive user interfaces.
    • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
    • Mentor junior developers and actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

    What skills and experience do I need to succeed?

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or the equivalent in experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a .NET Senior developer.
    • Proficiency in C# and strong understanding of .NET framework.
    • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
    • Extensive knowledge of developing RESTful APIs and integrating with web services.
    • Solid understanding of frontend development using and TypeScript.
    • Proven track record of implementing automation tools and practices.
    • Ability to work independently and proactively, with excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
    • SQL Server development
    • Experience with unit tests and refactoring large codebases

    *As part of our interview process we will require you to complete a technical assessment. This would be provided after the initial interview and you will be given 1 week to complete it.
