CDS (Club Demonstration Services) is the preferred in-house event marketing provider to Costco. We offer the best person-to-person marketing services in the industry, driving sales for our customers and Costco.


The Global Operation Regional Manager Europe manages, trains, coaches, and directs a team of Event Managers and District Managers, who are responsible for supporting and executing all Costco Vendor Events, CDS Europe's projects and initiatives.

The Global Operation Regional Manager Europe will also collaborate with and support Sales and Account Managers, field personnel at all levels, all business support units, to maintain operational excellence/effectiveness and ensure all operational KPIs are met within a specific geographic area.


Responsibilities:


  • Achieves business execution and event/project compliance objectives by prioritizing and organizing multiple event/project priorities with local managers and Event Specialists
  • Accomplishes specific client and division goals and objectives through adequate staffing and ondate execution according to specific event manual direction and following food safety guidelines as appropriate
  • Achieves overall execution objectives by building strong, frequent, and consistent interactions with Costco Operations at warehouse level
  • Regularly reviews and analyses reports. Provides timely plan of actions based on results
  • Controls expense/supply and ensures labour hours are within budget
  • Diligently travels to markets for purpose of, but not limited to, Event Manager Development, warehouse audits and performance review.
  • Monitors overall performance management of Event Managers providing direction, guidance, and support where necessary
  • Oversees and provides direction for recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training associates

Requirements:


  • Bachelor Degree in a pertinent field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience Retail Sales Manager or District Manager within the sales and marketing agency industry, or a direct sales company
  • 5+ years of Supervisory experience
  • Tracking record of successful and timely execution and ability to multitask.
  • Strong initiative and selfdirected, ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Strong understanding and experience managing large remote teams
  • Superb balance of sense of urgency with strong organizational, mathematical, and analytical skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including good understanding of spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software and retail reporting systems
  • Fluent in French and English, advanced level in Spanish
  • Travel up to 6070% (car required)
