Club Demonstration Services_ _(CDS). We are the preferred in-house product demonstration service provider to Costco (think: Costco Samples). Our teams market our clients' products through special events and product demonstrations, influence purchase decisions and drive sales._

Position Summary


The Senior Account Manager as a business partner is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Costco and their Vendors.

He/She will be the liaison, acting as a point of contact and will help provide marketing solutions, sales and product training, team support and will help deliver outstanding results.

He/She must have the ability to work independently as part of a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment and be able to make decisions and meet stringent deadlines.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead the daily planning and scheduling of Food Roadshows and other assigned Costco departments

Partners with key Costco buying contacts to develop demo programs and drive sales: AGMM, Buyer, Assistant Buyer, Inventory Control Specialists

Works with external vendors to develop Roadshow & Demo programs and continuously monitor execution, performance and objectives and provide relevant recaps of each program or event while improving communication, process, policies and procedures with Costco and vendor partners ongoing

Collaborates with Sales Manager to create necessary reports on events

Partners with Operations on communication and execution, changes and client requests in accordance to business standards. In addition to lead other special projects


Supervisory Responsibilities:

Direct Reports:hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources

Indirect Reports: does not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports


Travel and/or Driving Requirements:
travel is an essential duty and function of this job


Qualifications
-
Education Level: Bachelor's Degreeor equivalent experience
-
Field of Study/Area of Experience:5+ years of experience in a client-facing/customer service role, managing a team


Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
-
Fluent in english and spanish (french knowledge would be a plus)

  • Proven ability to successfully build exceed KPIs
  • Process oriented/strong followup/ highly organized approach to managing/prioritizing tasks and daytoday activity, Independent selfstarter
  • Very strong communication and leadership skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and clients, and ability to build rapport
  • Team player with ability to collaborate and communicate with Costco, vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Well organized, Detail Oriented, able to succeed in a fast paced work environment
  • Ability to ensure high levels of service & quality are maintained
  • Strong analytical thinker to assist in trouble shooting and managing a myriad of issues
  • Comfortable and conversant with technology
- very familiar with IPad, smartphones etc.

  • Comfortable creating training programs or presenting in front of groups of people
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, Templates)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Power Point)
  • MS Access knowledge a plus
