What you'll be doingOwning the product and solution architecture with a key focus on quality control and code optimisationInfluencing best practices, and helping to ensure these are followed across the companyOptimising and reviewing the performance of teams, with an aim to increase the quality of engineering as a functional leaderClosely involving with our hiring processWhat you'll needBachelor's Degree (or above) in Computer Science/Maths/Physics/similarExperience building and leading a significant software engineering team(s) within a scaling organisationStrong software architecture skillsHands on experience with JVM languagesExperience building and scaling high achieving engineering teamsBig picture thinking - correctly diagnosing problems and building innovative solutionsExcellent communication and collaboration skills to partner closely with Product Owners and Business HeadsBuilding a global financial super app isn't enough.
