    Descripción

    Ethikos is looking for a Junior Shopify Developer for our client, a retail company pioneer in sustainability issues, who is interested in developing within a leading company in positive impact in the fashion sector.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work from the inside of the platform using HTML, CSS, JavaScript & PHP, etc. to ensure the correct function of Shopify creating the internal base of the platform.
    • Development of unit tests, execution of mock integration tests, point-to-point and End-to-End functional tests.
    • Detail work to maximize the customers experience (visual consistency, browser testing, validation, load times).
    • Build the platform for the customer's best experience (Shopify Custom-build, Template modifications, Installation, 3rd Part App Integrations, etc.).
    • Integrate the external systems such as ERP or other relevant systems.
    • Take care of the front-end development in Shopify.
    • Learn and execute the extensions related to payment methods.
    • Develop extensions/plugins on Shopify.
    • Work with SASS/LESS
    • Make and release a clean and readable code.
    • Manage of backlog, priorities and taking requirements with stakeholders.
    • Work on the Integration experience (via REST API, queues, CSV files, etc.).
    • Inform, suggest and support the Ecommerce department in the implementation of new technological trends regarding Ecommerce.

    Requirements :

    • A degree in Marketing, Ecommerce, or Informatics. Valuable a master's degree on those fields.
    • Minimum of 2 years on similar roles. Preference with experience on the retail or fashion fields. Highly valuable the certifications Shopify Theme Developer and Shopify App Developer as well as knowledge on informatic and technologies.
