Our client is a well-funded biotechnology start-up focused on the discovery and development of new personalised medicines for the treatment of immune-mediated inflammatory diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease and systemic lupus erythematosus.

Headquartered in San Francisco, California, and with a permanent establishment in Barcelona, the company is hiring several Clinical Research Monitors.

Reporting to the Scientific Project Manager, you will work with clinical investigators, medical staff, management, lab technicians and informaticians, on site and within the company.

Main responsibilities and duties:

All aspects of the clinical monitoring process
Ensure compliance with GCP and regulatory requirements
Reviewing data collection for accuracy and completeness
Train & lead clinical research personnel at collaborating sites
Identifying problems in protocol implementation and conduct
Review & resolution of regulatory issues
Complete monitoring reports for each visit

Requirements:

Education and qualifications:

***Bachelor's or Master's degree in science

Experience and knowledge:

Min 4 years experience in clinical research and/or clinical trials data monitoring
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Highly organized
Able to work under deadlines
Able to work with human study participants
Knowledge of auditing
Knowledge of GCP and regulatory requirements
Business fluent in Spanish and English
