BayWa r.e. Projects España S.L.U. - a wholly-owned subsidiary of BayWa r.e.

AG - is responsible for the development, structuring and execution of utility-scale wind and solar energy projects in Spain & Portugal.

Due to our dynamic growth, we are expanding our team in Spain and are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager for renewable energy projects.

Solar Project Manager (M/F/d) - Madrid:

Ensures on-time execution of subsidy-free solar PV projects in Spain & Portugal from Ready To Build to COD
Leads and coordinates a project team comprising of legal, technical, PPA, sales and financing members
Supports team to 'structure' subsidyfee projects, _i.e._ secure PPA, PF financing, EPC contract, etc.
Secures internal investment approvals (including preparation and defence of investment proposals)
Ensures compliance with internal processes and standards with other teams, especially EPC
Manages relationship with 3rdparty advisors, service providers and contractors
Manages relationship with external stakeholders (e.g. municipalities, DNO
Distribution Network Operator, TSO Transmission System Operator, regional bodies)

What You Bring:

At least 5 years of experience in executing renewable energy projects in Spain and/or Portugal. Main experience in PV Project Management is required. Additional experience in Wind and BESS project will be valued.
Good understanding of bankable PPA, nonrecourse financing, EPC, O&M and AM contracts
Deep knowledge of sitesecuring, interconnection and permitting processes of renewable projects
Profound understanding of financial modelling
Exceptional tothepoint communication skills
Superior teamcoordination capabilities
Very responsive, ensures ontime delivery
Proactive and Team player
University degree (MBA is a plus)
Native in Spanish, fully fluent in English
