    As Privacy Lead in Barcelona, you will drive the implementation of privacy controls across the EUCAN region to align with regulatory standards and company policies.

    You'll partner with cross-functional teams to build a culture of data privacy and accountability, addressing incidents, DPIAs, data inventories, and consent considerations.

    You will stay ahead of global privacy developments and promote Global Privacy Standards to ensure consistent privacy across the organization.

    This role offers meaningful impact by shaping privacy practices in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

    Compensaciones / Beneficios


    • Conduct privacy reviews and DPIAs for EU/CAN medical and commercial activities
    • Establish and maintain data inventories (ROPA)
    • Coordinate responses to data incidents and data subject access requests
    • Provide clinical trial privacy advice, including ICF templates and use of human biological samples
    • Track and report privacy risk posture across functions
    • Monitor global privacy developments and implement appropriate controls
    • Promote Global Privacy Standards and support EUCAN country privacy officers
    • Build strong relationships with data owners, stewards, business users, and the Data Protection Officer
    • Act as primary contact for privacy inquiries and communicate requirements to stakeholders
    • Collaborate with IT, Legal, Compliance and other teams on cross-disciplinary analyses
    • Coordinate training and drive privacy literacy across supported functions
    • Contribute to Privacy network initiatives and other AZ data standard programs
    Responsabilidades


    • Bachelor xugodme in related field; advanced degree preferred
    • 5+ years in data governance, compliance, and privacy in pharma/healthcare with global privacy expertise
    • Strong understanding of privacy by design and AI
    • Initiative to identify and address issues in a business environment
    • Commercial awareness with pragmatic, business-friendly advice
    • Excellent verbal and written communication, able to present complex information clearly
    • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, fast-paced settings
