Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain data systems and processes
- Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement related to request statuses, estimated delivery dates, warehouse material availability, lead times, prices, and logistic transit times
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness and consistency of dat
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and establish data governance policies
- Support and develop business cases that identify the impact of improvement opportunities and cost reduction initiatives
- Monitor, measure, and escalate performance risks to the SCM management team to help ensure common KPI's are met
Required Qualifications
- Positive mindset with a selfmotivated and "can do" attitude
- Strong technical skills, including experience with database management systems and programming languages
- Proven experience with SQL is a must
- Ability and eagerness to learn new business processes
- Previous experience developing and managing data visualization tools, such as Tableau or PowerBI
- Expert in the creation of macros for automation, simplification, and management of data
- Proven ability to lead in a crossfunctional and global environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influencing others to support problemsolving initiatives
- Experience with or the ability to quickly learn internal tools such as Oracle Races, GE Support Central, Smartsheet, thirdparty web/cloudbased apps, and various web pages
- Fluency in English is a must
- Microsoft Office suite
- Expert knowledge level.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in STEM related field
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Understanding of the impact of logistics, procurement, and warehousing on business and financial processes
- Experience in a similar position
- Understanding of onsite installation and maintenance processes field
- Experience with Rest API (JSON) connections
- Experience with ERPs (Oracle/SAP), PowerQuery is a plus
- Experience in energy, offshore, or wind industry such as Assembly of wind turbines in an offshore environment
- French, Spanish, and/or German language skills
