Our People team is growing and we are looking for a People Business Partner to be based in Madrid to operate and advise on all aspects of people, ensuring compliance with corporate global policies and processes.


Job Duties And Responsibilities:


  • Provide advice and guidance to the management team on best practice in human resources management and compliance with employment legislation, and internal security and audit procedures.
  • Support the global people team in implementing appropriate actions/processes to raise employee engagement levels.
  • To ensure that the company remains fully compliant with changes to employment law, and that these practices are implemented consistently.
  • Coordinating recruitment process, assisting with the recruitment of staff and management, ensuring our ability to attract, retain and develop talent and achieve forecasted business volumes.
  • To ensure that all members of the team maintain accurate records relating to all processes undertaken with employees including HRIS and other administration.
  • Preparing monthly statistics covering hiring, absence, attrition and headcount to the People Manager and/or CPO.
  • Implementing, along with the global people team appropriate actions to raise employee engagement levels and ensure regular twoway feedback is undertaken with employees via focus groups.
  • To ensure attendance and attrition is effectively managed and reviewed, with remedial actions taken where necessary.
  • Supporting in the effective management of Health and Safety issues at office.

Experience And Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Labor Relations or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience as a People Generalist or HR Business Partner.
  • Advanced level of English.
  • Experienced with high volumes of recruitment and within short timescales.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to lead and drive change initiatives, with good understanding of the principals of change management.
  • Ability to be hands on but also able to work on strategic projects.
  • Ability for problem solving conflict resolution, motivation, and negotiation.

What We Offer:

- +5 years of experience in a similar role in the fintech industry with focus on digital wallets products.

  • Senior Level Role in International Banks with deep knowledge of banking policies in Risk & Complianc
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting (master will be a plus).
  • Proficient level of English and Spanish.
  • Selfmotivated, with ability to lead and drive change initiatives, cando attitude.
  • Deep understanding of functioning of banking operations.
  • Good organisational/time management skills, structural thinking.
  • Ability to be hands on with high attention to detail without losing the strategic standpoint.
  • Willingness to work in a fastgrowing company working environment and adapt to changes fast.
  • Effective business partnering skills and ability to build and maintain strong working relationship
