David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO company that is looking to recruit Norwegian-speaking Travel Booking Agent for their Benalmádena office.

Travel Booking Agent (Norwegian)


Location:
Málaga, Spain


Employment type:
Full-time


Remuneration:
Base salary + bonuses.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle customer inquiries and provide support for travelrelated questions
  • Make flight reservations and modify existing reservations using Amadeus
  • Verify ticket rules and regulations regarding cancellations and changes
  • Offer prompt, reliable, and accurate information to customers, maintaining effective communication and ensure timely resolution of customer calls while delivering highquality support
  • Log all interactions accurately using the Client's Contact Management System
  • Adapt support approach to accommodate customers of varying experience levels
  • Educate customers on support options and steps taken to resolve their issues
  • Maintain positive communication with team members, customers, and partners
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate department following Client's Procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Native/fluent Norwegian spoken and written
  • Fluency in English (training, materials, systems, and technical terminology)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ticketing skills and familiarity with IATA preferred but not a mus
  • Proficiency in Amadeus reservation system
  • Customer service experience in the travel industry is nice to hav
  • Previous business travel experience is preferre
  • Excellent customer service, written, verbal, and organisational skills
  • Familiarity with computer technology and devices (e.g., PCs, tablets, smartphones)
  • Fluency in the market's language (written and verbal)
  • Motivated and positive individual
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong multitasking, keyboarding, and active listening skills
  • Skillful paraphrasing of conversations, Outstanding verbal and written communication skill
  • Ability to find solutions following written procedures and guidelines
  • Takes ownership of customer issues
  • Effective in defusing angry customers through social and customer skills
  • Ability to identify and address root problems.
