- Software Development: This is a hands-on software development position to write high-quality software that will perform at scale, be supportable, and be extensible.

- Platform Components/Services Ownership: In collaboration with the Platform Owners, since the platform is intended for developers, you may take ownership over specific requirements related to platform components or services, defining the details and prioritizing based on other developer needs.
- Process & Operations: Ensure the software stack integrates with our existing CI/CD pipeline and contribute to continuous improvement; independently design, plan and deliver high-quality software.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science or directly related discipline
- 4+ years of hands-on industry experience as a software engineer
- 2+ years experience in contemporary platforms extended from cloud docker Kubernetes, helm charts, Kustomize).
- Participate in architecture and design discussions to come up with the most effective technical solution
- Quick learner with the ability to understand complex workflows and develop and validate innovative solutions to solve difficult problems
- Have successfully built, deployed, and supported enterprise-scale applications in the edge and/or in a multi-instance cloud.
- Hands-on software development experience in Java working with different Spring boot backend projects, testing frameworks and integration libraries and tools.
- Secure infrastructure as code provisioning experience and cloud knowledge (AWS preferred)
- Willingness to learn new technologies like Go or Rust
- Hands-on software development experience in JavaScript (or TypeScript) with a modern component based framework Angular, React, etc.).
- Experience with reactive libraries and architectures
- Experience in healthcare is not required, but familiarity with data standards and workflows is a plus HL7, IHE)

The Senior Software Engineer is a member of the platform team (7+ engineers) and applies knowledge on design principles and practices in the implementation of complex, enterprise-scale software systems.
