    We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our Pre-Sales team, ensuring a solid technical alignment with our platform and customer needs.

    As a MongoDB Pre-Sales Solution Architect, you will assist customers in creating reliable, scalable systems with our data platform. Working closely with our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in securing deals and driving business growth. This position offers the opportunity to be a trusted advisor to a diverse range of users.

    With MongoDB's continuous expansion, we are looking for an application search expert to specialize in Atlas Search within our pre-sales division. This role involves assisting in complex search cycles, enabling search functionalities, and collaborating with the product team to enhance the offering. Candidates located in Barcelona are preferred for our hybrid work model.

    Key Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of search expertise (Elasticsearch, Lucene, Solr, Algolia, Lucidworks, or similar)
    • 3+ years of software development experience
    • 3+ years of pre-sales experience with enterprise software
    • Proficiency in two or more scripting languages and/or popular programming languages
    • Experience with distributed systems
    • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Willingness to travel up to 25%

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in selling databases or deploying applications with major cloud providers
    • Knowledge of database programming and data models
    • MongoDB or cloud provider certification

    Responsibilities at MongoDB:

    • Design systems and infrastructure using MongoDB
    • Provide guidance on architectures and strategies for optimal MongoDB usage
    • Communicate the business value of MongoDB solutions effectively
    • Support sales with technical activities and documentation
    • Translate technical concepts into business benefits for stakeholders
    • Collect and relay field feedback to Product Management
    • Participate in marketing events to drive demand
    • Mentor team members and share best practices
    • Contribute to search technical concepts and AI/ML direction
