Job Description:

Position Purpose

  • Create and maintain the Operational Excellence Capability Building programs to build associate skills in problemsolving, change management, and project management
  • Spread the continuous improvement culture via Kaizens and Lean Six Sigma capability building
  • Standardize capability building operational processes to ensure consistent quality & delivery of all programs
Major / Key Accountabilities- Develop and maintain capability programs for Continuous Improvement to build associate skills in problem-solving, project management, and change management

  • Create processes for delivery of training, certification attainment, and gathering feedback from course attendees
  • Collaborate with Global Learning & Development to ensure alignment of OpEx training with the broader associate development process
  • Deliver trainthetrainer sessions globally to expand the network of certified trainers for all CI capability building programs
  • Develop method to continually improve the training to incorporate new business examples and adjust to match increasing maturity of associates in CI
  • Serve as change agent working collaboratively within and across departments, functions, and locations to help implement a culture of continuous improvement
  • Provide thought leadership and influence change at all levels of the organization
  • Drive and share best practices through the creation and use of centralized communications forums and tracking tools. Proactively identify and promote sharing of learnings and best practices across regions.
  • Facilitate Improvement Projects such as Kaizen, acting as an advisor to crossfunctional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems in a compressed timeline, to identify, diagnose and address bottlenecks and inefficiencies
  • Mentor Green Belts and Black Belts from training through certification completion
  • Identify barriers to implementation and develop and propose solutions that address both business needs and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct analysis of business processes across the organization, identify gaps in the business process, determine the impact to the organization, and recommend action plans and timeline to address these issues

Qualifications:


  • Minimum: Bachelors Degree
  • 15 years in a relevant business discipline e.g. Global Continuous Improvement Team, Learning and Development
  • Experience leading CI teams including Kaizen workshops; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt required, Master Black Belt preferred
  • Certification in Training and Change Management preferred
Experience

  • 15 plus years experience in a capability building discipline with supplemental business experience (preference for Supply Chain and/or Logistics)
  • Experience in building training materials for both inperson and virtual learning environments
  • Experience of using LEAN/Six Sigma methodology to deliver solutions.
  • Leading cross functional/remote teams without direct authority
  • Preferred experience in Supply Chain Project Management
  • Welldeveloped quantitative and qualitative analytical and critical thinking skills
Skills and Knowledge

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations and crossfunctional collaboration for all levels in the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and drive process improvements
  • Proven project management and change management skills with demonstrated ability to drive projects that require crossfunctional resources
  • Must be highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Experience in completing analyses utilizing Kaizen, Six Sigma, Statistical tools, Lean tools and other techniques for data analytics
  • Selfstarter able to work independently with minimum
