- Security Architecture Design: Develop and maintain security architectures to protect the organization's IT infrastructure, applications, and data.
- Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to detect potential threats and suggest mitigation actions.
- Implementation of Security Controls: Define and supervise the implementation of technical and administrative security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and identity and access management systems.
- Security Review and Audit: Conduct regular security reviews and audits to ensure the efficiency of security controls and conformity with policies and regulations.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments (IT, Development, Legal, etc.) to ensure security solutions are suitable and do not disrupt business operations.
- Security Incident Response: Lead the response to security incidents, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Knowledge Update: Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in information security and evaluate their potential integration within the organization.
- Documentation and Reporting: Develop and keep detailed documentation of security architectures, policies, procedures, and incident reports.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or related field. Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) are highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in information security, with at least 3 years in a security architecture role.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with security solutions like firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, identity and access management, cryptography, and cloud security.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct risk and vulnerability analyses and develop efficient mitigation strategies.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Leadership Ability: Capability to lead teams and projects, work independently, and make crucial decisions under pressure.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of security regulations and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS, among others.
