    CMO - Chief Marketing Officer (Barcelona)

    At Games for a living we are focused on developing exciting AAA blockchain games and tools to support gamers and game developers in the crypto space. As our team continues to grow, we are seeking a proficient Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with specialized knowledge in crypto, NFT, and gaming to join us in Barcelona.

    Working under the CEO's supervision, the CMO will lead the Games for a living brand identity and positioning. This role offers significant autonomy to design and execute a successful, growth-oriented marketing strategy, envision and plan for the future, and guide the marketing team in bringing those plans to life, including enhancing our Games as a Service concept.

    In this pivotal role, you will combine creativity with pragmatism to oversee all branding and marketing endeavors, nurture and lead your team, and must have a proven track record at a senior level within blockchain projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Market expertise & strategic planning: Understand the crypto asset and blockchain gaming markets to spot opportunities, shape the marketing strategy and budget, and steer marketing efforts towards triumph.
    • Brand & marketing plan: Spearhead the Games for a living brand representation and enhancement, supervise the execution of marketing and communication strategies, and ensure the team's performance is reporting to drive impactful outcomes.
    • Performance marketing and analytics: Utilize various channels for user acquisition, collaborate with the marketing and analytics teams to optimize channel performance online and offline, and guarantee profitable user growth for Games for a living.
    • Stakeholder and partnership management: Foster relationships with key stakeholders such as crypto and gaming media, press, agencies, influencers, and investors, forming strategic partnerships in the blockchain and video game sectors.
    • TGE and NFT marketing: Collaborate with the management and business development teams to develop and implement project-specific marketing strategies for upcoming token generation events and NFT collection initiatives.

    About you:
    Qualifications:

    • 12+ years experience in marketing, growth, and community management with strong team leadership skills: previous VP level or higher engagement in a publicly traded company.
    • Understanding of blockchain elements like NFT, DeFi, governance, utility tokens, DAO, launchpads, Binance network, wallets, etc.
    • Demonstrated success and familiarity with the crypto realm, including platforms like Discord and Telegram.
    • Proactive and strategic mindset, capable of independent and growth-driven planning and execution.
    • Analytical acumen with a profound grasp of data analysis techniques and market research insights.
    • Exceptional leadership capabilities.

    Nice to have:

    • Experience in successfully launching and growing Games as a Service.
    • Professional experience in DeFi or blockchain gaming growth marketing.
    • Knowledge of the NFT art scene and connections with key figures.
