The position

The Trial Data Management department is expanding, and we are therefore offering several opportunities for data management positions at various levels of seniority.

As a Data Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and high-quality data management deliverables for the clinical trials you are involved in.

- Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and executing data management activities through trial planning, set-up, execution, and closure
  • Supervising and evaluating the data management processes throughout the life cycle of a clinical project
  • Working closely with colleagues in our global Data Management organization, as well as being an integral part of the clinical trial team stakeholder management is an important part of the role
  • Acting as the bridge between our many stakeholders and the data management colleagues involved in your clinical trials with a key focus on clear communication
  • Being innovative and developing fit for purpose solutions, sharing your knowledge with peers and being an active partner in transformational activities is a key priority for Trial Data Management. This requires us to excel in our project leadership, our communication and it requires us to have a solid understanding of the data we collect in order to provide meaningful insights for our stakeholders.
    Qualifications
  • At least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, possibly within data science or natural sciences.
  • Excellent project leadership skills are required as you are expected to plan for and lead multiple activities in parallel without compromising the quality of your work, also when things are moving at a high pace
  • You are a skilled communicator and fluent in English, both written as well as spoken and you can explain complex, technical issues in a layman's context. You work independently, take responsibility, and show initiative
  • Experience with the collection and processing of high volumes of complex data
  • For higher senioritylevel positions:
  • Experience from the pharma industry, e.g., within data management, biostatistics or other data science functions working with clinical trial data is required
  • A solid understanding of GCP and relevant regulatory requirements is required
  • Experience working with industrystandard clinical data management systems (Inform, Rave, Data Management Workbench etc.), relational databases and data visualization tools

About the department
Trial Data Management is part of the global Data Management organization within the Data Science area at Novo Nordisk.

We are responsible for ensuring the integrity and timely flow of clinical trial data through the many systems we use for data collection for our clinical trials, conforming to regulatory requirements and industry-standards.

Trial Data Management delivers high quality data for further analysis, reporting and submission and work with a wide range of stakeholders across the global Novo Nordisk organization.
