    Here at La Casita de Inglés, we believe that learning should be fun We teach English to children through games, arts & crafts, singing and dancing, theatre, yoga and baking Almost all of the planning is provided for you, with teachers only having to tailor some of the ideas provided to them related to the topic of the week (outer space, sports, science, food, mindfulness, music, nature, etc.) to their specific groups. Classes are small and interactive, with a maximum of 8 children per class in our after-school program (although this number can occasionally reach a maximum of 10 if students need to make up on any given week).

    Tasks

    Our Summer Camp 2024 will be June 24-July 26 this year.

    Summer Camp is Monday-Friday, 09:00-13:00 or 09:00-16:00 and is offered in every La Casita location. The pay is 10€/hour with lunch included.

    You do not need to work all 5 weeks, but you have to be able to work all 5 days within one week to be able to work that week.

    We will start contacting applicants around Easter. It is important to note that there is a waiting list. If you are selected to go through the hiring process, we wil have interview and trial classes during May and June.

    Working in Summer Camp is a great way to get your foot in the door for future school year teaching oppotunities. There is also potential for growth within the company.

    If you are unable to work in Summer Camp, but would still like to work with La Casita, we are always hiring substitute teachers. As a sub, you can work in any of our Madrid locations, with a 4 shift monthly minimum. Then, when we have new permanent shifts become available, we pull from the sub pool first.

    Requirements

    What we're looking for: Fun, creative and enthusiastic teachers who love working with kids

    You must also have at least one year's experience teaching or working with children in a professional capacity (not just babysitting or nannying, for example), as well as a perfect NATIVE English accent/C2 English certificate, or accent from any English speaking country.

    *Note: You MUST have CURRENT, non-expired legal working status to work in Spain to work with La Casita.
