Tax & Accounting Technician

The opportunity

As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you'll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches.

You'll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.

Your key responsibilities

Management of accounts payable: management and verification of invoices received, resolution of discrepancies related to invoice processing and payment management.
Accounts receivable management: preparation of adhesion contracts, billing management, registration of information in the accounting system.
Posting of invoices issued and received and reconciliation of accounting accounts.
Management of purchase orders: creation of the order, registration of the request in the accounting system, monitoring of the order and management of possible incidents with suppliers.
Carrying out reconciliations and bank positions.
Provision of backoffice services in the treasury area (guarantee management, cash

- management and reporting).

Execution and review of accounting closures in the Spanish PGC.
Preparation of forecast and accounting monitoring reports.
Extraction of data systems for the preparation of accounting reports.
Preparation and presentation of taxes (VAT, CIT, withholdingtax, Intrastat, etc.).
Update of master data in the different systems (SAP, billing programs, etc.).

To qualify for the role, you must have

Degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, or similar
Professional experience in accounting process outsourcing projects
Good skills in English (oral and written communication)
Advanced command of office tools (Excel, Outlook, Databases, etc.)

Ideally, you'll also have

Userlevel experience in systems: SAP, CRM Dynamics 365 and Business Intelligence
Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines, reporting to several managers simultaneously
