    As a Social Media Strategist you will execute and plan the best social media and digital content practices for a wide selection of clients. This role entails diverse and fast-paced projects, including hands-on project management, ad hoc social media consultation, devising brand building recommendations and monitoring and optimizing strategies.

    Your core focus will be to deliver social strategies which deliver client impact and align with the focus of Social.Monks, thinking about opportunities for better client outcomes and new opportunities for Media Monks to grow.

    General responsibilities:

    Leadership &/Management

  • Create and nurture internal relationships with all the teams involved in the daily work to foster team collaboration (Accounts, Brand Strategy, Creative & Data).
  • Be an additive member of the the strategy team, contributing to thinking and development of our product and services.

  • Involved in multiple digital and strategic projects, focusing on thought leadership and cultural connections.
  • Develop digital and social strategies based on understanding the brand message, voice, objectives, and target audiences.
  • Develop brand and communication strategies by synthesizing information, insights, and research findings.
  • Perform all strategy tasks to support social projects, identify opportunities, or course-correct at-risk projects.
  • Inspire and support creative teams to develop impactful social ideas translated across channels, building brand equity and driving measurable ROI.

    • Client Relationship

  • Ensure the highest-quality work is delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner, focusing on effective processes across the team.
  • Look beyond the day-to-day needs of current work to ensure the relationship's long-term stability, growth, and revenue.

    • Background & Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital environments, such as Digital Planner or Social Media Strategist roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media and the digital environment, including formats and trends.
  • Ability to build digital or social media strategies and define roles for social media platforms. But having the ability to pivot. Nimbleness is a must.
  • Understanding of digital audiences and their behaviors.
  • Proficiency in developing digital ecosystems and identifying opportunities in emerging and new platforms.
  • Ability to develop consumer journeys and articulate findings and opportunities through compelling storytelling.
  • Familiarity with paid media environments and social commerce.
  • Knowledge of success metrics and valuable measurement according to objectives, digital channels, and formats.
  • Proficiency in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to recognize valuable insights.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify when tactical thinking is necessary.
