General description:

The Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) is seeking a Scientific group coordinator to work in Prof. Antonio Echavarren's research group. This position will be funded by the European Research Council via Prof. Antonio M. Echavarren (ERC-2018-ADG)


Our mission is to lead, from the vantage point of molecular science, cross-strategies for solving major social and economic challenges, such as climate change and sustainable supply of energetic and raw materials, thereby contributing to the establishment of a knowledge-based economy and improving citizens' quality of life in our influence area.


Responsibilities

  • He/she will cosupervise the experimental work of Master and PhD students in the laboratory and will work computationally in the study of reaction mechanisms and new catalysts design
  • He/she will present research project results at congresses and events
  • He/she will be responsible of chemical waste management
