As an Enterprise Architect, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the company's enterprise architecture. You will work with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and requirements and then design solutions that meet them. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the enterprise architecture is aligned with the company's overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Enterprise Architecture:
2. Develop and maintain the company's enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with regulatory standards.
3. Work with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and requirements
4. Monitor and evaluate the enterprise architecture to ensure that it is effective and efficient
5. Identify and address any gaps or inconsistencies in the enterprise architecture
6. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in enterprise architecture
7. Establish governance processes to ensure IT initiatives align with the enterprise architecture.
8. IT Architecture Design:
9. Establish principles, standards, and processes for IT systems.
10. Design reference architectures.
11. Ensure consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness in our technological solutions portfolio.
12. Alignment with Business Goals:
13. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their specific needs and requirements.
14. Facilitate communication between IT and business stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and support for architectural directions.
15. Design technology solutions that align with Admiral's overall goals.
16. Secure compliance with EU legal frameworks and industry standards.
17. Innovation and Emerging Technologies:
18. Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify innovation opportunities.
19. Stay informed about current and emerging technologies, including their potential applications.
20. Analyze technology trends and their impact on the company's competitive landscape, advising senior management on strategic investments.
21. Guidance and Support:
22. Provide guidance and support to technical staff and other stakeholders on IT architecture and strategy issues.
23. Foster collaboration across the organization to ensure technology solutions meet business needs.
24. Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of software and services to achieve strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in IT, with at least five years in an architect role. Previous enterprise architect experience will be a plus.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and best practices will be a plus.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology, SAFe Architect Certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of relevant architectural frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman Framework).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business teams.
• Experience working in a regulated industry (insurance preferred).
• Experience with public cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP) and multi-cloud technologies is a plus.
• Fluency in English
