Position Summary:

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team at NexGen Cloud.

As the Junior Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting financial operations, managing financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Manage employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to process financial transactions and resolve financerelated inquiries.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial data and analysis as required.
Support the monthend and yearend closing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Assist in preparing documentation for external audits and regulatory compliance.
Adhere to financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain data accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a junior accountant or in a similar financial role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Detailoriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating with diverse teams.
Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
High level of integrity and professionalism, adhering to ethical standards in financial practices.
Knowledge of cloud computing or technology industry is a plus, but not mandatory
