Job Description Summary:

The Senior Electrical Engineering Manager will provide leadership to a high skilled and global engineering team executing business critical new product developments, driving cost competitiveness, and ensuring world class subsystem performance of the Haliade X Offshore platform.


You will work together with Supply Chain, EHS and Operations among other relevant stakeholders, to deliver the best solution from a whole value chain perspective.

Scope of the department includes Electrical Auxiliaries and LV Cabients Integration subdepartments.


Responsibilities include:


  • Full ownership and accountability for quality of deliverables, on time delivery, design cost, dfmea, performance, availability, weight, and general targets defined by the business related to the subsystem.
  • Team management and development towards successfully achievement of targets through different programs related to Haliade X.
  • Lead a global, multifaceted Engineering team with responsibility for setting priorities, shaping culture and strategic planning.
  • Provide crossfunctional leadership to ensure a cohesive, differentiated, and marketleading subsystem technology strategy from design through customer fulfillment.
  • Drive Engineering Excellence across the team.
  • Ensure appropriate operating rhythm to ensure KPI business targets are met by the team, driving simplification, efficiency, productivity, and overall team performance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to drive action plans aiming to deliver world class quality.
  • Provide leadership with high integrity and oversight of processes protecting Intellectual Property, exportcontrolled information, and strategic technology.
  • Promote professional growth through timely performance feedback, coaching and counseling.
  • Ensure company compliance initiatives and training requirements are implemented within work group.
  • Drive the Reward & Recognition process, promote Fun at Work.
  • Define roles and responsibilities for assigned personnel.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and participate in salary planning.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in an Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years proven technology and/or product management experience.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Significant experience in leadership roles in similar functional positions with proven successful record.

  • Prior experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) programs with proven ability delivering complex programs on schedule, within budget, and proven component performance.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and design engineering.
