As a Product Engineer Compressors at MAHLE, you will be part of the product engineering team responsible for developing AC compressors. Our current product teams focus on developing a diverse range of compressors, including Mechanical variable displacement compressors and electrically driven compressors.

How can you become part of our success?

• Work with customers to edit and sign technical matrices for the required applications
• Run and organize validation programs for AC compressor components
• Develop and release new standards in collaboration with the Global Team for specific applications
• Develop and author technical validation reports and specifications for internal engineering and customer documentation
• Utilize DFMEA/PFMEA processes to understand and improve validation-related issues and enhance designs based on test failures before mass production
• Read and interpret blueprints, specify Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Assist in preparing and executing test units
• Analyze test data, organize results according to internal or customer specifications, and draw observations and conclusions
• Apply engineering practices to achieve design solutions
• Participate in innovation, product cost reduction, and quality improvement initiatives
• Engage in cross-functional teams involved in customer program launch activities
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing plants to ensure product design for high value and manufacturability

What skills do you need?

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or higher
• At least 5 years of experience in developing precision products
• Strong understanding of statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, strengths of materials, thermodynamics, and engineering design principles
• Experience with full product life cycle development up to production
• Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and basic 3D modeling
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Time management and organizational abilities with multitasking skills
• Passion for hands-on work environments
