- Manufacturing cost control. Identifying variances and proposing corrective action plans.
- Budget calculation process that involves analysis and calculation of production volumes, direct material cost, pricing, indirect production cost, yield, capacity, FTEs, inventory impacts, etc., ensuring the broadcast schedule and the proper product costing.
- Periodic forecasting of the expected Gross Margin and actuals Vs forecast deviations reporting.
- Participate in local and corporate projects looking for the manufacturing performance improvement and saving identification.
- Calculation of standard costs.
- External audit management focused on costing area.
- Cost accounting monthly closing process and reporting
- Inventory control
- Design and implement Standard Operating Procedures within the manufacturing and supply chain processes to ensure the correct product cost calculation and the proper operational performance.
- Collaborate in the definition, calculation and monitoring of operational indicators (KPIs) together with the managers of each department.
- Demonstrated Cost Controlling knowledge.
- Demonstrated Product Costing knowledge
- Ability to demonstrate a strong analytical and inquisitive mindset with good planning and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work multi-tasking, work under pressure and meet deadlines as required.
- Capability of discussing and negotiating with other functional area managers and staff in the plants. He/she will have to work close to the different areas in the plant "shoulder to shoulder".
- Good communicator, proactive, attention to detail, with resolution capacity and able to work under very strict and rigorous deadlines.
- Autonomous, proactive, hands-on, finds personal motivation in delivering high standard results.
- Ability to interact at all levels of the organization as needed including effective interaction as required with the General Director of Altan and/or senior Directors of the parent company Ethypharm.

JOB MISSION:
This is position related to control the manufacturing activities focused on product cost calculation, manufacturing KPI ́s and manufacturing process control.
This is a key position to ensure the accuracy of product cost calculations and manufacturing control performance applied to financial data and internal business processes.
This position reports to Manufacturing Controlling Group Director and will be based in Las Rozas. Ethypharm Spain has two industrial sites (Toledo and Álava), the candidate should have availability to travel to Álava (max. 1 or 2 times per month).DUTIES
