Mario García García

Greetings. My name is Mario García and I'd like to apply for this job. 

I have studied 4 years of 3D animation, I have 6 years of experience animating in Maya and I'm currently improving my knowledge of the Blender software. I also have knowledge of multimedia editing. I haven't stopped animating ever since, working on fan projects such as Bionicle: Masks of Power and currently animating for a video clip. Right after finishing my studies I also joined my fellow students to participate in the production of the short film "Franceska" directed by Alberto Cano. There, I learned firsthand what teamwork really feels like, valuing the feedback I receive from others that helps me improve my work.

After finishing my Master in Lightbox Academy, many students, myself included, participated Alberto Cano’s short film project, “Franceska”. Its release date got greatly delayed because of the pandemic, but in the end it aired in October of 2021 y preselected for the Goya awards. The trailer can be seen in Youtube and the scenes in which I worked are in my current Demo Reel.

I was hired by Hailey Lain to animate for her in the production of an animated music video inspired by the videogame “Bendy and the Ink Machine”. This videoclip is being produced and it will be finished by this year’s end.

I studied a grade in CEV (Superior Technician in 3D Animation, Games and Interactive Environments), the double international degree: the British Higher National Diploma (HND), and a Bachelor course (Bachelor in 3D Content Creation for Animation, Games and Visual Effects).


In Lightbox Academy I studied a Master in Basic Animation and Advanced Animation, besides Basic Rigging.
