Acerca de Jaime Sanchez:
No language barrier should exist nowadays. Utopic? Maybe. Culture is more and more homogeneous but language is still one of the biggest problems in communication. One of my main objectives is to do all that is in my hand to solve this.
My Name is Jaime Sánchez, I was born in Zaragoza, Spain and from a really young age, I’ve been really interested in the English language in all its forms. With my degree in English Studies from the University of Zaragoza, I’ve learned English’s origins, how to use it, its variations and how to learn and teach it. I did my Erasmus program at the University of Strathclyde, in Glasgow, Scotland. I'm also finishing a Master’s Degree in Language and Technology at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
My friends describe me as a decisive, calm and hardworking person. I really like teamwork and collaboration. Whenever I face a problem I quickly search for a way to solve it with proactivity and adopting the leader role if necessary.
In the last years, I’ve done freelance translation of technical documents (manuals, brochures, announcements…) for the Food & Beverage section of Diversey Spain. I’ve also worked with Sabor a Pirineo food truck in several national events as kitchen staff. My experience as a Scout Chief for several years has shown me the significance of the service to society. I have other work experiences as a waiter in Market Drayton, UK and as a personal English teacher for teenagers.
📸My main hobbies are photography, videogames, biking in all its forms and occasional mountaineering. Whenever I discover a new topic that I enjoy I get strongly invested in it.
