Experiencia
Predoctoral Researcher in the Instituto de Biomedicina de Sevilla, in the laboratory of Drs Francisco Gómez Scholl and Amalia Martínez Mir (University of Seville, CSIC,
IBiS). Design, performance, and analysis of experiments in the project entitled "Physiopathological
mechanisms of the synaptic pathway of Neurexins and Neuroligins in neurodegenerative
diseases". Extensive skills in the correct handling and manipulation of experimental animals. Usual
handling of techniques for behavioral characterization of genetically modified animals (open-field,
elevated plus maze, fear-conditioning, self-grooming, novel object recognition, three-chambers).
Regular handling of specific software used in the acquisition and analysis of different animal
behavior tests. Pioneer in the use of multielectrode electrophysiological recording (MultiChannel
systems) to record activity in cells cultures and tissue slices.
Regulated teaching of the Department of Medical Physiology and Biophysics (MPB) at the
University of Seville. 12 credits in the subject of Physiology in the Nursing degree. Co-advice of
final degree project entitled "Analysis of the differential processing of Neurexins by Presenilins" in
the department of MPB in the Biomedicine degree. Co-advice of the final Master project entitled
"Characterization of animal models of the Neurexin and Neuroligin system associated with
Alzheimer's disease" in the department of MPB. 10 credits.
