Language specialist with a PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures. 5+ years of professional experience in industry and academia, including writing, translating, proofreading, editing, and language instruction. Fluent in Russian (native speaker) and English.

I am a language specialist, researcher, and educator with a strong background in Slavic languages, linguistics, and the humanities. I’ve taught Russian language and literature at the university level, most recently at the University of Southern California, where I also worked as a teaching assistant. In these roles, I developed course materials, led classroom instruction, and supported students through personalized feedback and guidance.

In addition to teaching, I’ve worked as a proofreader, editor, and linguist, contributing to translation projects and media analysis. I have experience aligning bilingual corpora, editing for clarity and accuracy, and producing tailored content under tight deadlines. 

My academic training includes a PhD in Slavic Languages and Literatures, along with master’s degrees in Art History and Russian Literature. I bring a detail-oriented and analytical approach to everything I do, whether it’s teaching, research, translation, or editorial work.
