_Full-time remote _internship_ _position: Marketing Assistant_

We are a firm that specializes in Nation and Place Branding.


Since 2003, Bloom Consulting has been developing Nation Branding and City Branding strategies for various local and national governments worldwide, collaborating with prime ministers, presidents, mayors, heads of tourism boards, and directors of investment agencies, among others.


We provide countries, regions, and cities with a range of consulting services and proprietary technology to create innovative Place Branding Strategies and measure Nation and Place Brand effectiveness and reputation.

We have offices in Madrid, Lisbon, São Paulo, London, and Riga.

The main role of the Marketing Assistant position is to help and support the project manager in internal and external projects


The tasks may include:

  • Monitoring social media and digital media outlets, updating social media channels.
  • Involvement in marketing strategy development.
  • Preparing marketing content (photo, video, animations, audio).
  • SEO analysis and implementation.
  • Updating and correcting documents in English.
  • Content writing for different platforms (including social media, journal, descriptions etc.).
  • Analyse results.
  • Proofreading texts.
  • In charge of external communication with for example journalists.
  • Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with relevant media channels and accounts to promote specific Bloom Consulting projects; this includes media planning on proactive and reactive stories and research on promoted topics.

Requirements:


  • High level at speaking, reading, and writing in English (C1); wholesome creative writing skills.
  • Knowledge of graphical design and Photoshop or/and video editing tools.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Indepth knowledge and understanding of media communication and social media platforms; networking and relationship building skills.
  • Organizational skills and with a proven ability to meet deadlines and give attention to detail.
  • Ability to take initiative and proactive approach, accountability, creativity and enthusiasm.
  • Professional attitude.
  • A good working knowledge of Teams, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint packages.

Formal Requirements

  • The general requirement for all interns is to have a universityinternship agreementwith Bloom Consulting (Agreement provided by your university or any internship program such as Erasmus+).
  • Valid health insurance coveragefor the entire duration of the internship. (Only for interns who are traveling because of internship).
  • Own laptopwith Microsoft office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
