About the position


We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager (Cataluña, Aragón and Baleares) to join our Professional (HoReCa + Distributors) Sales team, who will report to the Sales Lead.


As a Regional Sales Manager at Upfield Professional, you have an exciting opportunity to develop your own customer plans, build strong relationships with customers (Distributors and main customers).


You are accountable for developing and delivering a win-win customer strategy and customer business plan by integrating and in lining the best execution of Upfield's professional sales with business objectives.


You aim to grow the business of the customer through our products in order to achieve our growth & profit business targets, and to grow our business ahead of the market.


You analyze market trends, customer needs and competitors' activities to develop effective sales plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product availability.


So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
You have a bachelor degree or equivalent by experience; a degree in economics is an asset.

An experience in Commercial foodservice/HoReCa segments is preferred, and an experience in Distribution is highly appreciated.

A proven track record of 5 years as area manager, distributor management or category management will be valued.

You have the ability to develop relationships with new and existing customers to unlock potential growth opportunities


You are ambitious and have a customer focused attitude combined with strong negotiating skills and good understanding of business financials (P&L, value chain) and analytical skills.

You are able to work both independently and as a team member.

You also have good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Fluently in English is necessary.
