    Climate change is causing deep uncertainty at all levels of society, with climate volatility reducing the security of all land-based assets and posing a multi-level security threat for the functioning of enterprises, societies, and governments.


    Mitiga is a spinoff of the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, which hosts MareNostrum, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe.


    Mitiga's mission is firmly rooted in employing cutting-edge science and technology to mitigate the multifaceted risks posed by climate-driven perils.

    Our approach spans a spectrum of temporal scales, from real-time and annual forecasts to projections spanning the next century.

    This comprehensive perspective on risk, coupled with our capacity to transfer risks to capital markets via catastrophe bonds, positions us to significantly contribute to enhanced climate mitigation, resilience, and equity.

    Who You Are

    You're a climate tech mastermind who bridges the gap between sales and product. You translate complex climate science into actionable solutions, guiding clients to maximize the value of Mitiga's software.

    Your Experience & Impact


    Pre-Sales:
    Formalise and lead a technical pre-sales SaaS Solutions Consulting function in tight collaboration with CS, Product and Commercial teamsPartner closely with Sales and Partnerships on client discovery to analyze and understand customers' businesses, climate ambitions and software needs as well as understand operational requirements and aid lead qualificationLead technical product demonstrations to prospects, articulating value, focusing on areas of interest, and solving challenges raised in discovery sessionsEducate client facing teams on specialist climate science and product questionsPrepare additional scientific input in proposals and answer requirements detailed in RFI/RFPs

    Post Sales / CS / Partnerships:
    Become a trusted advisor to our prospective and paying customers and partners —leading education on climate physical risk and the Mitiga Solutions' offering, developing training materials to enable partners to understand and sell Mitiga productsAct as a hub of climate model expertise, supporting clients' understanding and usage of the models, giving presentations, webinars and other materials which articulate value, competitive distinction and technical deep dives as requiredSupport CS on product offerings as a SME, including client project management


    Product:
    Contribute to data-driven product development efforts, generating content for the product discovery backlog via client discussions, pre-sales engagements, and POC feedbackConsult with existing and potential clients to understand their specific needs, challenges and industry issues that they face before providing specific solutions using the EarthScan platform or adding content to the Product Discovery BacklogDeliver Proofs of Concepts by applying tailored solution functionalities, leading trials from start to completion and ensure a smooth handover to the customer success team for implementationDocument market feedback regarding product experience and desired enhancements

    Requirements

    Qualifications:


    5+ years of consultative sales within sustainability, energy or environmental industriesMasters degree or equivalent industry experience within environmental, climate or data scienceBilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with additional languages (such as Catalan or French) a significant advantage.
