Atlas Copco, Home of Industrial Ideas, is seeking a new Product Engineer for the Factory based in Zaragoza.

In this role, you will contribute to maintain the excellence of our WEDA range, that delivers Submersible Pumps for our customers globally.

The following will be your
main tasks and responsibilities:


  • Continuous Improvement: Monitoring product performance post-launch and collecting feedback to drive continuous improvements and updates to future iterations of the product.

Prototyping: Developing electromechanical prototypes and mock-ups to validate design concepts and ensure they meet performance and user experience requirements.

Testing and Validation: Conducting thorough testing of prototypes and final products to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Manufacturing Process Optimization: Collaborating with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Working closely with various teams, including design, marketing, sales, quality and manufacturing, to ensure seamless communication and alignment throughout the product development lifecycle.

Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving technical challenges and issues that arise during product development, manufacturing, or post-launch phases.

Product Design: Creating and refining product designs that align with customer needs, functionality, and manufacturing feasibility


This includes:

  • Design and modification of components for existing products (primarily metallic parts, using casting and machining processes)
  • Modification and maintenance of Bill of Materials
  • Creation and modification of technical drawings

Required Education and Experience:


  • Engineering degree. Good level mechanical Engineering. Basic level of electrical Engineering Understanding.
  • 23 minimum years' experience in similar position
  • Documentation and Bill of materials expertise.
  • English proficiency.
  • Familiar with processes and systems inside and industrial environment.
