The Factory of Atlas Copco Zaragoza is seeking a
new Process Engineer
Manufacturing & Logistics to contribute to a more sustainable and emission free future.


The person appointed will be responsible for the industrialization processes of new product development in the assigned manufacturing lines and product range.


The following will be your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Report, test and define new industrialization processes for new product development, defining tools, materials and vendors.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary Project Team and all the departments in the supply chain process to the new product Development introduction and industrialization in our factory, assuring lean processes and a safe environment.
  • Manage changes in our system coming from design notifications, regarding bill of materials in shop orders, parameters and others.
  • Coordinate and lead the phases of manufacturing prototypes, tests, and create technical documentation.
  • Take responsibility with agreements with vendors for tooling, manufacturing machinery and new designs, and follow up their delivery.
  • Assess and improve current manufacturing and logistics processes and implement continuous improvement in the assigned manufacturing lines and warehouse markets, in collaboration with internal partners.
  • Analise and handle manufacturing costs and budget the industrialization of new product development.
  • Create and provide precise information for decision making in manufacturing processes, estimating costs, workforce and materials required, following up lead times and future orders planning.
  • Keep reliable and safe information updated in the management system while improving the KPI ́s of the Manufacturing and Logistics department.

Experience requirements:


At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial factory, oriented to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.


Education requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. A Master ́s specialization in industrialization and manufacturing is a plus.

Knowledge requirements:


  • New project developments, especially for the optimization of existing manufacturing processes.
  • Lean Manufacturing.
  • Lean Logistics and Supply Chain.
  • You are a natural with digital tools and learning new technical software.
  • Full professional competence in English and Spanish.
