Santander Consumer Mobility Services (Ulity) is looking for a Technical Product Owner for our Madrid offices.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES


The Product Owner will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, and managing stakeholder expectations.


The Product Owner is responsible for owning the release backlog for a particular scrum team and working with the team as they develop stories, use cases and functional specifications.


  • Communicate with the scrum team what are the upcoming value milestones
  • Continuously build and prioritize your team's backlog, ensuring predictability, boosting performance and a steady velocity of delivery
  • Drive backlog refinement, including acceptance criteria and timelines. Accountable for formally accepting the work developed by your scrum team, including performing user acceptance tests
  • Responsible for the quality and accuracy of user stories, use cases and functional specifications.
  • Customer and stakeholders engagement on the ongoing initiatives, translating needs into functional requirements
  • Demo the final version of the Product, updating customers and stakeholders on the next capacities that we will launch

EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong experience working as a Product Manager or Product Owner (5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role).
  • Experience creating, developing digital products with previous experience working with SaaS solutions and B2B2C online business.
  • Ideally experience in startup environments as well as corporate environments.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in Subscription Businesses will highly valuable.
  • Experience liaising with diverse and multicultural teams.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree or degree related to Systems Engineering, Information Technology

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Tech savvy in one or more of these technologies: C#, TypeScript, Amazon Cloud and Services, Postgres, React, React Native, CSS, Containers.
  • Knowledge of leading and executing in an agile methodology using Scrum
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong team player
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good analytical and strong problemsolving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or beat assigned targets and deadlines consistently
