- Working with complex data sets to tackle challenging business problems using advanced analytical methods
- Converting business inquiries into technical solutions
- Creating, testing, and managing machine learning models, as well as recognizing data annotation needs
- Spearheading innovation by adopting new machine learning algorithms and the latest generative AI advancements
- Advocating for best practices in machine learning and guiding junior team members
- Directing functional teams and projects to expedite technology and AI integration within the organization
- Utilizing Python, MLflow, Azure stack, and Databricks to provide comprehensive solutions
- Engaging closely with customers to assess their requirements and propose solutions that raise satisfaction levels and drive business value
- Staying abreast of technological trends in the AI domain and employing this knowledge to address EcoVadis' foremost challenges
- PhD or Master's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Applied Math, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Physics)
- 8+ years of experience in machine learning and NLP
- Profound understanding of machine learning concepts, including NLP architectures like transformers and RNN models, and NLP tasks such as NER, entity linking, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Experience in leading end-to-end NLP projects and implementing best software development practices
- Strong mentoring skills and commitment to delivering high-quality results in a timely manner
- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration for AI product development is advantageous
