What you'll do

:


  • Provide strategic procurement services to enhance our business operations.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to devise and execute effective procurement strategies in line with industry trends and business goals.
  • Oversee the procurement process, including selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, processes, and regulations.
  • Spearhead initiatives for continuous improvement to streamline procurement processes and achieve cost efficiencies.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, market dynamics, and emerging technologies impacting procurement.
  • Guide and nurture the procurement team, fostering a culture of teamwork, creativity, and ongoing skill development.

Essential qualifications

:

  • Seasoned professional with at least 7+ years of relevant procurement or supply chain management experience in sectors such as events, media, or hospitality
:

  • Extensive experience in strategic procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation.

Proficiency in spoken and written English (No scrambled eggs at Egg, please.)

  • Robust understanding of procurement best practices, market trends, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record in managing complex procurement projects and delivering results.
  • Data-driven, budget-conscious, and adept at solving problems with creativity.
  • Skilled presenter with experience communicating and engaging with executive stakeholders, clients, and partners.

Nice-to-have skills

:

  • Fluency in other languages besides English.
  • Team management experience.
  • Proficiency with procurement tools and platforms.
  • Established success in implementing sustainable procurement practices.
  • Background in overseeing procurement for global operations.
  • Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management.
