About the role:

DNV - Energy division is seeking a Operational Energy Analyst to join our Energy Analytics Wind team in Spain.

This role is to enhance capabilities and increase resources of the team which is responsible to support developers along the prospection, development and operation phase.

Energy production assessments, both pre construction and operational, are the main service we provide to developers, investors, operators or lenders.

We are looking for an analyst with experience dealing with data produced by operational wind farms (SCADA signals and energy)

Key tasks:

Analyzing SCADA data and alarms
Analyzing wind and other climatic data
Monitor performance issues and O&M of a wind farm
Assessing longterm wind farm energy production
Writing technical reports and communicating results to clients
Collaborating on the preparation of service proposals and follow up with clients as required
Collaborating and briefing with colleagues worldwide on technical topics.

About you:

Master's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or any other relevant engineering or science degree
Proficient working with MS Office Word/Excel
Strong overall computer skills and ability to learn multiple software tools required (Python, R)
Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
Valid driver's license
