Senior Clinical Research Project Manager (IMM-Care)

Promotion and Development of Clinical Research (PDRC)
VHIR is seeking a
Senior Clinical Research Project Manager to join its PDRC Directorate.

project iMM-CARE: BOOSTING CLINICAL RESEARCH FOR THE BENEFIT OF SOCIETY. VHIR leads the

WP on Training and the PM will give support to the team involved in the project for an excellent execution of

Research Directorate of VHIR to facilitate and promote high-quality, innovative, and effective clinical

research programs that align with the institute ́s strategic goals.


JOB DESCRIPTION

Education and qualifications:


Required:
-

Bachelor's degree, preferable in life sciences or related fields.

  • Full proficiency in English
  • Good command of Spanish and/or Catalan.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills with at ease dealing with senior international scientists, healthcare
professionals and the rest of the team and stakeholders involved in the project.

  • Due to the fact that the position is aimed to join a collaborative project with a research institute based on
Lisbon, availability to travel is required.


Desired:
-

PhD in a life-sciences related field will be highly valued.

  • Complementary training in project management and/or people development and talent management will be a
plus.

Experience and knowledge:


Required:
-

Proven experience in clinical research activities management and coordination tasks. Ability to autonomously
coordinate project partners and supervise tasks execution in projects of certain complexity.

  • Proven experience in European collaborative projects coordination and management tasks, preferably in the
field of health research and education.


Desired:
-

Demonstrated knowledge about physician-scientists career pathway and their opportunities for research

training.

  • Previous experience working as clinical trials or clinical research manager or organizer in health research
institutions and/or Hospitals environments will be a plus.

  • Good IT skills. Specially, practical experience with Learning Management Systems (i.e. Moodle) will be an
asset.

  • Practical experience in survey design and data analysis will also be advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and planning capacities.
  • Proactive, results oriented professional with close attention to detail and with the ability to work under tight
deadlines.


Main responsibilities and duties:

Contribute to define the clinical research strategy of the IMM-Care project to create a translation continuum

from bench to bedside and back again, improving the interplay between basic, translational and clinical

research groups.

  • Planning, implementation and monitoring of the different task of project's clinical trials working package.
