How to contribute to our vision


We are looking for a Buying Professional for our Service Procurement Organization, that would join our Service Project Procurement team in the region South Europe & Africa, preferably located in Sarriguren or Zamudio but other locations will also be evaluated.


From this position you would support the effective and optimal sourcing of the different subcontracted services and activities required by the operating areas of SGRE Services SE&A regional organization and potentially also some global activities for the SGRE Services Business Unit.


Examples of the activities to be tendered:
preventive & corrective maintenance, blade repair, large correctives, oil changes, retrofits, design modifications, crane subcontracting, etc

What you need to make a difference

  • Engineering / Economics / Business Administration degree or equivalent.
  • 5 years experience in Procurement activities. Alternatively, 5 years experience in Services activities on windfarm (Service Area Manager or similar)
  • Fluent in English language. French or Italian would be a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
  • Project Management Skills: must have the ability to selfmanage workload, manage multiple projects in parallel, set target dates, meet deadlines, follow processes, deploy a commodity roadmap of projects and implement projects to achieve optimum results.
  • Strong analytical, planning and project management skills; results driven personality; excellent and experienced negotiation skills in procurement.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal business and external collaboration partners/suppliers at senior management level
  • Advanced usage of Excel, PowerPoint, Word PowerBI and ERP systems (SAP)

Responsibilities:


  • Lead from Service Procurement the tendering and sourcing of the subcontracted activities defined on the scope.
  • Participate with Regional or Global Service Operations teams on defining and implementing commodity strategies to ensure longterm, costefficient supply of service.
  • Monitor the markets worldwide to create a basis for deciding the optimum sourcing strategy and cooperation with the best suppliers.
  • Provide purchasing assistance to support/design cost reduction activities with crossfunction.
  • Identify and resolves complex problems crossfunctionally.
